technology overload?

I am more or less obsessed with Apple and every single one of their products. For example, I currently have this:

And now I'm dying to buy this:

At what point does one say enough is enough? I think I would use the iPad, I truly do. Do I NEED it? No, probably not. Do I want it? Yes, desperately. It would be so convenient to take back and forth to class, especially considering my books are weigh about 30 pounds a piece (I'm not joking, I've weighed one of them and it was 12 pounds). I am, however, completely broke and am living off student loans. Some of my other friends (not mentioning any names) tend to forget that loans are something that you actually have to pay back. I do NOT forget this...but the iPad is so pretty, and so lightweight, and so pretty, and so functional.

I'm probably going to be able to talk myself into this one.
