raindrops keep falling on my head.

This picture is not mine. It belongs to a stranger, so I cannot give credit where credit is due.
TGIF, guys. TGIF.

This was the longest week ever. A very long week filled with skills competency checks and studying and canceled plans. Not a happy camper.

As always, some good came with the bad.

I woke up to a delightful email from my friend C. I passed both of those skills competency checks at 100%. My mom, aunt, and grandma had a 3 family garage sale and after just today, I've made about $50 from my old clothes. I love this concept. I don't want these clothes anymore, but someone else is willing to PAY me for something I used to love. Works out well for all involved, I think! Also, the crowning gem on this not so great week? My dad's insurance lowered the cost of my monthly prescription to $3.50. THREE FIFTY. Hallelujah.

AND. The best thing of all? I got a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers. FOR FREE.

blog overhaul and some random thoughts

I recently became slightly more blog savvy and learned out to change some of my settings...so now we have the new and improved molly's musings! :)

Some thoughts I have on this sweltering Sunday evening:

I am not a fan of Missouri summers. My better half prefers the warm weather to the winter months, but I am the exact opposite. I feel as if I get hot, then I stay hot until I go to sleep that night. Ironically, these rules don't apply to sleeping...and I sleep with a down comforter, a regular comforter, and a blanket over me.

I hate seeing animals suffer. Newsflash: if you hit your dog for something he did 8 hours prior, he's not going to know why you're hitting him. In fact, you probably shouldn't hit him for something 8 SECONDS earlier. Not mentioning any names.. Speaking of animals suffering, Ms. Bella is sick. I'm not pleased.

I still watch the MTV Movie Awards, because it is HI-larious to watch all of these celebrities make complete and utter fools of themselves. Top of the list tonight: Robert Pattinson.

I need a bigger room. My closet is bursting at the seams, and my bed is no longer sufficient for studying purposes.

I know I've mentioned Smart and Sassy with Sprinkles, and she wrote a super cute post today. It's survey-ish in nature, but I think it's way less obnoxious than the usual "chocolate or vanilla? diet or regular?" type surveys, so I'm gonna play along.. Especially since B did too :)
